About Chris Webster
Graduating with a degree in computer science from University of Hertfordshire in 1996 Chris Webster embarked on a career as a software developer. After a brief spell writing software for the Security Services he moved into the private sector. Taking on a development role the then fledgling company Redstone Telecom plc, Chris worked on Customer Care applications moving to service provision systems and rating and billing systems. Moving on to work with Cube Technologies, writing innovative value added telecoms applications and e-Commerce systems for companies such as Reality Telecom. Later through Microgen plc, Chris supported and worked extensively with telecoms billing fulfilment applications here gaining a deep understanding of high volume, clustered, B2B/B2C e-Billing web sites as well as large volume database requirements.

Chris Webster is a client facing IT contractor working with some of the biggest names in the UK and Europe, in business areas including Banking, Telecoms and Security. As a developer Chris has worked with Microsoft, Oracle, Sun Microsystems and other proprietary and open source platforms.
During a career spanning nearly 15 years Chris has built up a wealth of knowledge of development processes, architectures, design techniques and management skills. He has been responsible for delivery of both large scale projects and small scale applications.
As well as this Chris has worked in Consultancy providing assistance to companies such as Virgin Media, JP Morgan Chase, Credit Suisse First Boston, Thus (now part of Cable and Wireless) helping these companies solve day-to-day integration issues and delivering solutions that work.
